What an affiliate link actually is
An affiliate link is just a normal link with a small tracking code attached. When you use it to buy a product, the retailer knows the visit came from us and pays us a referral fee. It works a bit like a tip jar that the store fills on your behalf.

- It doesn’t change your shopping experience, your warranty, or your returns.

Commissions never decide the winner
This is the part that matters most. The money we earn has zero influence on which product wins a comparison. We buy products with our own money, score every one against the same criteria, and call it as we see it — even when the “loser” would have paid us a bigger commission.
If the best choice for you is a product we earn nothing from, that’s still the product we’ll recommend.
How we keep our reviews honest
Trust is the only thing a comparison site really has, so we protect it carefully:
- We purchase the products we test at retail rather than accepting free units from brands.
- Brands and retailers have no say in our verdicts, our scores, or what we publish.
- Every comparison is graded against the same pillars, performance, value, build, ease of use, features and support, so no product gets special treatment.
- We update or correct a review when a product changes, a new model launches, or we simply get something wrong.
About prices and availability
Prices, discounts, and stock change constantly, especially on Amazon. Any price we mention is accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of writing, but it may be different by the time you read it. The price shown on the retailer’s product page at checkout is always the one that counts. Please confirm the current price and details there before you buy.
In short: we only make money if you decide a product is worth buying and we’d rather earn your trust than a quick commission. That’s the whole deal.
